Scare for Audi.

Tom Kristensen maintains the lead in the Le Mans 24 Hours but only after a huge scare in the 22nd hour.

Kristensen was continuing to lead the way in the #2 Audi when he came up to put a lap on the Barazi-Epsilon Zytek of Juan Barazi approaching the Dunlop Bridge.

Barazi outbraked himself into the left-hander in the chicane but then clipped the rear right of the Audi as the pair turned right, damaging the front of the LMP2 car and tipping Kristensen into a spin.

The Audi pit crew was scrambled immediately but Kristensen elected not to bring the car into the pitlane and has continued on track, with the #7 Peugeot less than three minutes behind with two hours remaining.
