Eurosport confirms live Le Mans coverage
Eurosport has confirmed that it will once again broadcast the Le Mans 24 Hours in its entirety this summer.
The broadcaster will show live coverage of practice and qualifying on Wednesday 9 June and Thurday 10 June and will also show the race in full from the start on Saturday 12 June through to the finish the following afternoon.
For the first time, the event will also be available in high definition on Eurosport HD.
Sportscar fans will also enjoyed a daily preview show in the week leading up to the event, while the preceding Le Mans Series race at Spa next month will also receive live coverage.
"This year's race is almost certain to boil down into a duel between the diesel cars of Audi and Peugeot," Eurosport commentator Martin Haven said. "The German manufacturer has been the dominant force at Le Mans for the past decade, while the French cars won last year's race after three years of trying. Audi will certainly be looking for revenge."
