Metzger to perform back flip at Sheffield SX!
Freestyle rider Mike Metzger will be the star of the show at the opening round of the British International Supercross series after agreeing to show off his famous back flip stunt.
Metzger has perfected the difficult stunt which sees him turn his bike upside down through the air before landing it on both wheels and is now able to pull it off at will. Metzger will be in England for the October 19-20 event and will do the back flip on Sunday October 20.

Following the afternoon supercross races, Metzger will perform the incredible stunt. He will be joined by top British freestyler Jamie Squibb and Canadian Andy Bell who will perform their own brand of tricks. All three will perform stunts on Saturday October 19 but Metzger will save his back flips for the Sunday afternoon.
"It's a freestyle trick that has never been seen in Britain before," said John Hellam of promoters Future West. "Mike has been very particular about the details because of the precise nature of the trick. The ramps have been built specially for this performance and Mike will fly in well before the event with his own engineer who will check out the specification of the ramp."
