Moto2: Indonesian rider to replace Anthony West
Indonesian rider Rafid Topan Sucipto is to replace Anthony West at the QMMF (Speed Up) team for this weekend's Valencia season finale.
West has been handed a one month ban by the FIM for failing an anti-doping test conducted at Le Mans, in May.
The news of his replacement looks to confirm that he will not appeal.
17-year-old Sucipto is a multiple Indonesian national champion and presently races in the 600cc Supersport Asia Road Racing class. He will be making his grand prix debut.
West has finished runner-up at the past two Moto2 events, in Malaysia and then Australia. His seventh place at the wet Le Mans round was achieved prior to the switch from Moriwaki to Speed Up.
Sucipto will ride alongside full time 2012 QMMF rider Elena Rosell at Valencia.
