Moto2: Gardner, Nagashima join SAG
The SAG Racing Team has signed Tetsuta Nagashima and Remy Gardner for the 2019 and 2020 Moto2 seasons.
Nagashima will be returning to the Catalan team after a season at Honda Team Asia, while Gardner arrives after spending two years at Tech3.
"I am very happy to be part of the SAG Racing Team for the next two seasons," said Gardner, who finished a career-best sixth in Argentina, suffered leg fractures in a training accident before the start of the European season and claimed a debut front row at Silverstone.
"We will work very hard to get the best results, I hope to have a good preseason this winter and know the team well to start in the best possible way. I really want to start on my new team!"
Nagashima, 16th overall and one place ahead of Gardner in the world championship, claimed his best grand prix finish with eighth place last time out in Thailand.
"I want to thank the SAG Racing Team for their unconditional support to be part of their sporting project for the next two seasons," said the Japanese.
"I'm sure it will be two very interesting years; I already know the team and we have worked very well together in the past, so I can concentrate 100% on driving and be more competitive in each race.
"We will work very hard to achieve the best possible results in a championship and category, which are not easy at all."
Rookie Jules Danilo currently rides for SAG, with a string of replacements on the other seat originally occupied by Isaac Vinales.
