Having already been granted FIM status, the Spanish CEV Moto3 series has received a further boost by becoming a 'Junior World Championship' for 2015.

There will also be revised 'European Championship' titles for the Moto2 and Superbike classes:

FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship
FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship
FIM CEV Repsol Superbike European Championship

'With this, the FIM CEV Repsol aims to break down national barriers even further and make a quantum leap in the search for young riders of whatever nationality who are ready to make their name in the context of the championship,' said an FIM statement.

Earlier this year it was announced that the winner of the FIM CEV Moto3 Championship would be permitted to compete in the Moto3 World Championship, even if below the minimum age of 16.

This has cleared the way for Fabio Quartararo (pictured) to participate in the complete 2015 season.
