Aoyama to miss British MotoGP
MotoGP rookie Hiroshi Aoyama has been ruled out of this afternoon's British Grand Prix after falling in morning warm-up.
The highside accident left the 250cc world champion with 'heavy contusions' to his back and, after a check in the Medical Centre, doctors decided Aoyama needs to go to hospital in Oxford for a CT scan.
The Interwetten Honda rider's exit means there will be just 15 riders on the grid, with world champion Valentino Rossi already sidelined with a broken leg.
