Surgery for Alex Rins, checks for Marc Marquez

Fresh from his debut grand prix podium in Sunday's wet Moto3 grand prix, rookie Alex Rins underwent surgery in Barcelona on Monday to repair finger damage from a Saturday fall at Le Mans.
The Spaniard underwent surgery on the little finger of his right hand, in a procedure carried out by Dr. Xavier Mir at the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus de Barcelona.
Rins (Suter Honda) will remain in hospital for 24 hours under antibiotics.
Fellow Repsol-backed rider Marc M?rquez (Suter), who suffered a heavy blow to his right hand when he crashed out of Sunday's Moto2 race, also underwent an examination at the facility.
Marquez, who lost the title lead by one-point to Pol Espargaro following the fall, lightly damaged his thumb in Sunday's spill and has been advised to rest the injury for a week.
Both Rins and Marquez will thus be fit for the fifth round of the 2012 world championships, in front of their home Spanish fans, at Catalunya in two weeks' time.
