The Ducati/Ferrari Wrooom Press Ski Meeting concluded on Friday evening with the traditional kart race on ice involving the MotoGP and F1 stars.

While the two-wheel stars have caused an upset in recent years - Nicky Hayden winning in 2010 and Valentino Rossi in 2012 - this year's event ended with an all-F1 podium of Fernando Alonso (the 2011 winner) from test driver Giancarlo Fisichella and Felipe Massa.

Alonso recovered from a spin early in the first race to snatch victory with a hard late pass on Andrea Dovizioso, for which Alonso apologised. The 2012 F1 title runner-up then also won the second leg, which began in the reverse order of the first race.

New Ducati signing Dovizioso - who had earlier won the snowboard race - was left best of the two-wheeled stars in fourth overall, followed by Hayden in fifth and MotoGP rookie Andrea Iannone in seventh.

The Factory and Pramac Ducati riders, including Ben Spies, who did not take part in the ice race due to his healing shoulder, will complete their first 2013 MotoGP laps at the start of the official Sepang test in early February.
