PICS: Dovizioso sends new Ducati flying
Factory Ducati star Andrea Dovizioso had one new chassis to try this weekend in Germany - but it lasted just ten minutes before this accident in morning practice.
The dramatic incident occurred when the Italian lost the front through the fearsome turn 11 downhill right-hander.

Andrea Iannone (FP1) and Cal Crutchlow (FP2) later fell at the same corner. All escaped serious harm, although the rear wheel was broke off Iannone's 'lab' bike, which has an older frame spec than Dovizioso was using.
Dovizioso will switch to two of the standard GP13s for the rest of the weekend.
