Petrucci: The ART is a fantastic bike!

IodaRacing's Danilo Petrucci has hailed his new-for-2014 ART machine following a two-day private test outing at Jerez.
The Italian was getting some much-needed mileage under his belt having been forced to skip much of the pre-season tests, though he was still able to turn in a point-scoring performance during the season opener at Qatar.
Switching from Suter-BMW to the ART for 2014, Petrucci travelled to Jerez to get to grips with his new bike and was impressed with the progress.
"I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to do this test. We need to do miles and we were successful in this target now.
"The ART is a fantastic bike, but it rides in a completely different way from the one that I used last year so it was essential for me to try on a different track from Losail where we did the test and the race. Shame about the weather, which has partly ruined last day of work."
IodaRacing had planned to run two bikes for Petrucci and British rider Leon Camier, but the deal for the latter fell through after the team lost title backing from CAME.
