Doohan recuperating after latest operation.
Five times World 500 Champion Mick Doohan (left on pic with countryman Ant West) may have ridden his last Grand Prix nearly two and a half years ago but he is still having operations to help him recover from his major crash at Jerez two years ago and at Assen in 1992.
The Australian is recuperating in America after his latest operation which involved putting some screws into his toes to help with the movement in his ankle. He has been told to put no weight on his foot for three weeks and will return to Europe for the Grand Prix at Valencia at the end of September.
