McCoy still 'daunted' by leg breaking crash.
Slide King Garry McCoy was left slowest of all at the end of the Estoril IRTA test, but admitted he'd ridden cautiously after breaking his leg in similar conditions last year.
"Even though it was dry in the afternoon, it remained really cold. The conditions were worse than in last year's testing when I broke my leg on this track," explained the Aussie. Who rode just 23 laps.
"It's a daunting memory that still plays on my mind," he admitted. "There was no reason to push, because we won't have these temperatures and conditions in the race in September anyway."
