'West meets East' at Aprilia launch.

The Alice Aprilia team unveiled their official 2003 livery last night in Milan, under the slogan 'West meets East on the Aprilia RS Cube'.

That phrase was a direct reference to the nationality of the teams two riders for the 2003 season: Colin Edwards and Noriyuki Haga - possibly the most exciting line-up in MotoGP this year.

Both were present in Milan to proudly display the bright, multi-coloured, Cosworth powered racer to the world [pictured].

"Today we are presenting a new, determined and highly competitive team that is going to give everything it has to make its name in the premier class of MotoGP," said Aprilia President Ivano Beggio. "This is the project we in Aprilia have put our heart into, investing money and working as hard as we can."

However, Edwards, Haga and the RS Cube's biggest test so far will come this weekend in Barcelona where they will face reigning champions Honda - and Valentino Rossi - in the final IRTA test before the Japanese Grand Prix.
