Eight Chinese go wild at Shanghai.
No less than eight Chinese riders will attempt to qualify for next weekend's inaugural Chinese Grand Prix at Shanghai.
Five of the riders will compete in the 250cc class - riding Yamaha, Honda and Aprilia machinery - while the other three will enter the 125cc class, on Hondas.
Meanwhile, as previously reported, Tohru Ukawa will make his Moriwaki race debut in the MotoGP class - quashing whispers that he would instead be drafted in to replace Makoto Tamada following the Konica Minolta Honda rider's fall at the Portuguese Grand Prix.

It is not yet known if Tamada will ride but, as previously reported, Team Roberts and their rider Shane Byrne have already confirmed that they will miss the absent. The new Fantic 250cc team are also not expected to make the journey, but former 250cc world champion will definitely be competing - replacing Alex Hofmann on the Kawasaki ZX-RR.
