With over a week to go before the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello marks the end of the MotoGP spring break, Crash.net has searched the archives of its Motorcycle Grand Prix picture supplier Gold and Goose for some exciting image flashbacks.

These three pictures show a selection of great slides performed by - from top to bottom - Randy Mamola, Garry McCoy and Loris Capirossi.

Mamola's slide was caught on camera during the 1990 Brazilian 500cc GP, when the popular American was riding for Cagiva, while the McCoy picture is from the 2000 season, when the current Foggy Petronas World Superbike rider was getting his Red Bull Yamaha into all sorts of spectacular shapes.
