Pictures: Yamaha unveils 'retro' Valencia livery.
These are the first pictures of the special 'retro' livery which factory Yamaha riders Valentino Rossi and Colin Edwards will use during this weekend's season-ending Valencia Grand Prix.
The traditional livery is being used both to celebrate Yamaha's 50th anniversary and also the end of one of the company's most successful racing seasons ever - which has seen Rossi win the MotoGP riders' title, Gauloises Yamaha claim the teams' crown and Yamaha take the manufacturers' championship. Yamaha has also won multiple titles in World Championship Motocross.

The use of the traditional red, white and black 'Yamaha Japan' colours follows on from the yellow, white and black 'Yamaha USA' livery seen during July's US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca.
It is exactly 30-years since Yamaha won its first premier-class road racing world championship - and the first by a Japanese manufacturer - when Giacomo Agostini took title victory with the then revolutionary two-stroke OW23 YZR500, painted in the same 'Yamaha Japan' colours.
