Elias down and out.
Valentino Rossi wasn't the only rider injured during first free practice at Assen, with Toni Elias suffering a fracture of his left shoulder - forcing the young Spaniard to withdraw from the Dutch TT weekend.
After being treated in the Clinica Mobile, Elias initially returned to first free practice action. However, the pain continued and he was later diagnosed as unfit to race. Toni has now returned home to Barcelona where he will be examined by Dr Xavier Mir.

"I'm really disappointed about the injury, the season hasn't been great so far but this is definitely the lowest point - but it's not the end of the world," said the Fortuna Honda rider. "I'd like to thank the Clinica Mobile for getting me back out on track this morning, but in the end I realised I couldn't continue. I'll fly back to Barcelona and the Dexeus Hospital today, but I don't know when I'll be back in action yet."
