125: Koyama joins KTM for 2007.

Red Bull KTM has announced that 23-year-old Japanese Tomoyoshi Koyama will join their 125cc team for the 2007 season.

The contract was concluded during the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi where two KTM team riders, Mika Kallio and Hiroshi Aoyama, took first place in the 125 and 250cc races respectively.

Red Bull KTM has announced that 23-year-old Japanese Tomoyoshi Koyama will join their 125cc team for the 2007 season.

The contract was concluded during the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi where two KTM team riders, Mika Kallio and Hiroshi Aoyama, took first place in the 125 and 250cc races respectively.

Koyama, competing in his second full world championship season, currently rides a Malaguti for the Ajo Motorsports team and finished seventh in Sunday's 125cc race - his best result of the year so far. Koyama took two podiums at the tail end of 2005, when the Ajo Motorsports team were using Honda machinery.

Finn Kallio and Spaniard Julian Simon currently ride for the Red Bull KTM GP 125 team.
