250: Dovizioso steals Turkish pole.

Honda's Andrea Dovizioso will start from pole position for the first time this season after edging out reigning 250cc world champion and current points leader Jorge Lorenzo on Saturday at Istanbul Park.

'Dovi' lapped just 0.077secs faster than the Aprilia star, while provisional pole sitter and reigning 125cc world champion Alvaro Bautista failed to improve on his Friday time and slipped to third, almost one second from pole.

Alex de Angelis completes the front row while the Gilera of Marco Simoncelli heads row two ahead of rookie Thomas Luthi.
