Marquez rampant in warm-up, Pedrosa second
Marc Marquez continued to shine amid the Argentine gloom by topping MotoGP warm-up at the Termas de Rio Hondo Circuit as three Hondas placed inside the top five places on Sunday morning.
The reigning world champion was more than half a second quicker than team-mate Dani Pedrosa (+0.57s) at the end of the twenty minutes in which riders attacked the quick, undulating 2.9-mile track in fully wet conditions.

Cal Crutchlow underlined the Honda RC213V’s adeptness in such conditions (and at this track) by placing fifth, behind the impressive Scott Redding in third and Jorge Lorenzo – using Ducati’s aerodynamic fairing for the first time this season – a decent fourth.

Alex Rins continued his weekend of promise with the sixth fastest time, ahead of Aleix Espargaro (seventh), Valentino Rossi (eighth) and Andrea Iannone (ninth). Maverick Viñales was 1.2s slower than rival Marquez, putting him tenth on the time sheets.
Championship leader Andrea Dovizioso was eleventh in conditions that should suit his Ducati GP18 more than the dry, with Karel Abraham (twelfth) and Hafizh Syahrin (13th) also showing good speed in the rain.
