Surgery took place after a 3D CT scan revealed Pedrosa had suffered 'an intra-articular fracture of the right distal radius'.
The injury occurred after the #26 was forced off the dry line by a passing manoeuvre from Johann Zarco, on the opening lap of Sunday's Argentina MotoGP race - the Spaniard being launched into a highside as he opened the throttle.
A titanium screw was used to fix the fracture.
Repsol Honda will release more information on Pedrosa’s progress as it becomes available.
