Vinales' had been fastest at the end of MotoGP pre-season testing in Qatar on February 24, after which the coronavirus forced the cancellation of the Losail race weekend for the premier-class.

Riders from Concession manufacturers Aprilia and KTM will be in action during a private MotoGP test at Misano this week.

However, most others will need to wait until an Official day of testing - featuring the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and MotoE classes - at Jerez on Wednesday, July 15 to ride their race bikes.

The Spanish circuit will then host the opening two rounds, on consecutive weekends.
