Argentina off, final 2021 MotoGP calendar confirmed
Just two months before the season finale, the 2021 MotoGP World Championship calendar has now been confirmed.
Argentina, which has been postponed since early April, is now officially cancelled and will not be replaced.
'MotoGP looks forward to returning to Termas de Rio Hondo in April 2022', said a Dorna statement.
The 2021 season will therefore consist of 18 rounds, concluding at Valencia on November 14.
Meanwhile, the second of the Misano rounds will be officially titled as the tongue-twisting 'Gran Premio Nolan del Made in Italy e dell'Emilia-Romagna'.
Following the conclusion of the racing season, an official post-season MotoGP test will be held at Jerez on November 18-19.
Official track action will then resume with the Sepang Shakedown Test from the 31st of January 2022.
