Jorge Martin and Alex Rins have progressed through Qualifying 1 and now head for the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice.
The others will start, in the above order, from 13th on the grid onwards.
Rookies Darryn Binder and Remy Gardner fell early in the session, while a later accident for Aleix Espargaro ended the world championship leader's hopes of reaching Qualifying 2.
