Austin MotoGP, COTA - Warm-up Results

Marc Marquez will go into this afternoon's Austin MotoGP unbeaten in every track session having led morning warm-up by 0.303s from Repsol Honda team-mate Dani Pedrosa.

Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo moved up to a weekend best third (+0.755s) in the cool, overcast conditions.

But with rain forecast, riders were hastily checking both their machines and practicing bike swaps in pit lane should the weather change and the grand prix be declared a flag-to-flag race. All track sessions so far have been dry.

Marquez spectacularly leapt straight from one bike to the other, without touching the ground, during his practice pit stop...

Fuel to be reduced to 22 litres should Ducati achieve a race win, two second places or three (dry) podiums. If Ducati claims three wins they will also lose the softer rear tyre.
