Marc Marquez takes pole for the Indianapolis MotoGP, towing Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso from eleventh to second in the process.

Bradley Smith suffered a nasty highside at the end of the session and is undergoing checks.

Leon Camier is making his MotoGP debut this weekend, in place of the injured Nicky Hayden.

Turns 3, 4, 7, 15 and 16 have been reconfigured and the entire infield section resurfaced for 2014.
