Misano MotoGP - Race Results
Dovizioso wins the San Marino MotoGP at Misano - catching and passing Lorenzo, then staying just out of reach as his Ducati team-mate battled with Marquez.
Lorenzo then fell on the penultimate lap while pushing to close on Dovizioso, putting Marquez into second place and Crutchlow onto the podium.
The Yamahas of Vinales and home star Rossi were never in contention at the front, costing Rossi second place in the world championship.

Petrucci was given a 1.1s post-race penalty for taking a shortcut at turns 1-2.
Tito Rabat was absent due to leg injuries at Silverstone and was replaced by Christophe Ponsson. Ponsson was using the GP16 machines of Simeon, who has been handed Rabat's GP17s.
KTM's Espargaro was returning from back and shoulder injuries at Brno.
Stefan Bradl and Michele Pirro were competing as wild-cards.
