Jerez MotoGP test times - Session 1
Ahead of this weekend's Spanish MotoGP season-opener, an Official test is being held at the Jerez circuit today, marking the first time most riders have been on their MotoGP bikes since Qatar in February.
Reigning world champion Marc Marquez set the only sub 1m 38s lap of the morning session, knocking Jack Miller from the top of the timesheets in the final five minutes.
The Pramac Ducati rider would then be demoted all the way down to 7th by a flurry of fast laps.

When the chequered flag came out, Suzuki's Alex Rins was closest to Marquez, followed by Yamaha's Valentino Rossi (who had spent much of the 90-minutes outside the top ten) and Aprilia's Aleix Espargaro.
The leading 14 riders were covered by less than one-second, with all six manufacturers inside the top eight.
Andrea Dovizioso was riding a motorcycle for the first time since fracturing his collarbone in a motocross accident at the end of June.
This morning's session was held from 10:00-11:30am. The afternoon MotoGP session is scheduled for 14:00-15:30...
