Beckmann will join Swiss team Jenzer Motorsports for his debut season in GP3, having tested with the team in Abu Dhabi at the end of last year.

"To compete in the 2018 GP3 Series is an important step for me and doing so with Jenzer Motorsport is definitely the best choice," Beckmann said.

"The official tests in Abu Dhabi last December showed that we can work very well together and that the chemistry with Andreas Jenzer and his technical staff is just right. It's going to be a demanding season with tough competition and I'm looking forward to this challenge.

"Particularly exciting is the very powerful environment, since the events are held together with FIA Formula 2 in the supporting program of FIA Formula 1."

Menchaca, 23, joins Campos after finishing ninth in last year's World Series Formula V8 3.5 championship for Fortec Motorsports, ending the year with one podium to his name.

"I'm very happy to be back with Campos Racing, in such a competitive environment as GP3 is. My relationship with the team has been built over the past four years, so basically they're my family," Menchaca said, having raced with Campos through 2015 and 2016.

"We evaluated many different scenarios for the 2018 season which included Japan and also the USA, but in the end together with Escuderia Telmex and my backers we decided that what Adrian offered was the best program available for me this year.

"I know the team went through a couple of difficult seasons, but after being at the workshop over the past week it's very clear to me that the potential for good results is there, I can't wait for testing to begin."
