Honda's Conor Cummins says he is 'learning all the time' on the CBR1000RR Fireblade after securing the final place on the Superbike TT podium.

Cummins, who has battled to regain his best form since a career-threatening spill in 2010 at the event, pushed Guy Martin hard for second place as the pair filled the rostrum places along with Michael Dunlop.

The Manx rider was only 2.9 seconds behind Martin at the line as he returned to the rostrum in the class for the first time since his big accident.

"It's been a tricky few years since my accident and I'm just so happy to be here, I can't say much more than that," said the Ramsey rider.

"I'm feel like I'm riding well and I'm learning all the time on the Honda Fireblade. I was really pushing for second place and I had good boards all around the course, so thanks to the boys that were out there.

"I can't say a big enough thank you to Honda Racing, my sponsors and all the people that have helped me get here today."
