TT2014: Dean Harrison confirms Mountain credentials
Dean Harrison underlined his status as an emerging Isle of Man TT star with a brilliant ride to fourth place in the second Supersport race.
The Bradford rider, who also finished fourth in the opening 600cc race on Monday and clinched a stunning runner-up for Superstock event, had hoped for a rostrum finish for the Northern Ireland-based British championship team, but was happy nonetheless with his performance.
"What a week we've had here with the Mar-Train Racing Yamaha after such a disappointing North West 200," he said.
"The boys have done a great job and although I would have loved a podium for Tim [Martin] and the whole team, I think two fourth placed finishes for them this week is a good place to kick-start a TT career.
"I love riding the Mar-Train Yamaha and will look forward now to the remaining races this year at Scarborough, the Southern and the Ulster Grand Prix."
Harrison is back on the RC Express Racing Kawasaki for Friday's Senior race and also lines up in the Lightweight race, when he starts as a potential winner.
