McGuinness unveils Quattro Plant Kawasaki colours
John McGuinness has helped show off Quattro Plant Bournemouth Kawasaki’s 2020 colours ahead of this year’s road racing campaign.
McGuinness will make his first full-time switch to Kawasaki machinery to compete at the North West 200 and Isle of Man TT in the Superbike and Superstock classes this year after teaming up with the 2018 BSB champions.
The 23-time Isle of Man TT winner will be partnered by Alastair Seeley at the North West 200 for Quattro Plant Bournemouth Kawasaki, as he prepares to celebrate 30 years of racing with a debut on the ZX-10RR.

“Not only is it great to have John McGuinness riding a Kawasaki this year, he’s going to be doing so on this stunning machine,” Kawasaki Motors UK Senior Racing Coordinator, Ross Burridge, said. “Pete Extance and the team have done great job with the design and I can’t wait to see it out on track at the Isle of the Man TT in June!”
McGuinness is hoping for a fresh start after recovering from injury and putting in an impressive performance at last year’s Macau GP.
“Everything made perfect sense and we’ve put together a good plan that will put us in the best position possible for the TT and North West 200,” McGuinness said last month. “After my performances at Macau, I really got my mojo back and, with my leg now 100%, I feel like I’m as riding as well as ever.
“Joining Kawasaki and Pete’s [Extance] team and riding the Ninja ZX-10RR is a new chapter for me, one I’m excited about and really looking forward to.”
