Berwick axe Brown in second team change.
Elm Bank Berwick Bandits' Promoter Peter Waite has moved at speed again to bolster up his team's lower end by announcing his second team change. Coming into the team full time in place of Welsh star Tom Brown, and partnering the British Under-21 Champion Ritchie Hawkins at reserve is 24-year-old, Edinburgh-born, Blair Scott.
Scott made his speedway debut for Conference side, Linlithgow in 1996, before making the move to Premier League and Edinburgh in 1998, where he stayed until Workington grabbed his services in 2002.

Waite described himself as delighted to have, at last, managed to get Scott into the Berwick side saying, "Blair is a young talent of which we have yet to see the full potential. He has ridden mainly to a fave and a half point average in most of his career, and at reserve for us that will be fine, although I still believe he has a lot more inside him to offer. Scott's inclusion is a good, positive move that will benefit our challenge once the League starts in a week or two's time."
Scott makes his Bandit's debut tonight (wednesday) at Hull Vikings in the Knockout Cup 1st leg.
