Dym lights the way.
Berwick Bandits promoter Peter Waite said last week that there was nothing to worry about, despite the apparent lack of team-building action, assuring fans that below the surface things were frantic, and so it has been proven, with a brand new Pole being announced and more to come by the turn of the week.
Waite is particularly excited about his next Polish finding, a rider he believes can comfortably gain a UK average of over 8 in his first season on British shale and he is the 28 year-old who competes for Ostrow in the Polish First Division, Piotr Dym

Dym joins fellow Countryman Adam Pietraszko who set the Premier League alight in his UK debut season last year, and Czechs Michal Makovsky and Adrian Rymel leaving three more 2005 Bandits to find.
Waite in convinced Dym could be the provider of the light at the end of the tunnel for Berwick saying: "Piotr is a fine rider and a great find for our club. Last year we really hit lucky when we found Pietraszko, and I firmly believe in Piotr Dym we have another excellent rider ready to rip up the British Premier League."
"Yes, I know I have said this for many years, and I'm not bothered, I'll say it again, it is still my main ambition in life to bring the League title to Shielfield Park, and whilst I also know what a massive feat that is, I have the faith in Piotr to have an inkling that he could possibly be the factor that tips the balance our way."
"He comes with very impressive recommendations and a track record proving he is capable of beating well established Elite League level stars especially towards the end of the 2004 season in Poland. This lad once again subscribes to the 2005 Berwick belief that we are here not only to get results, but to entertain as well to the highest possible standards, and this guy will entertain. I cannot wait to see him in our opening fixture of the season"
Waite's referrals to recent on-track success went back to the Mayor's Cup, an event he won at Rawicz, taking the Final ahead of Piotr Swiderski, Grzegorz Walasek and Marciey Kuciapa.
