Jonsson to leave Coventry.
Coventry can now confirm that skipper Andreas Jonsson will be leaving the team after the next fortnight. Jonsson has been unwell for several weeks and feels that he needs to cut down on his racing commitments for the sake of his personal health.
Bees co-promoter Jeremy Heaver said: "We are very disappointed that AJ has decided to leave us midway through the season due to the fatigue of travelling. When we announced our team at the beginning of the year it was for the full season. It was our intention to keep all of the riders for the whole year."

"We are now trying to secure the services of alternative riders, and when we have news we will announce it. However, it may take some time due to the shortage of suitable riders willing to race in the UK. It's disappointing that the news comes on the back of Rory's injuries, and we hope that it will not damage our play-off hopes."
Jonsson rides for the Buildbase Bees in Friday's clash with Peterborough, and in Monday's televised fixture at home to Poole.
