Rickardsson to miss Maillia

Sweden's Tony Rickardsson, who is suffering from double vision when riding, has been ordered by doctors to rest for 14 days and therefore has withdrawn from Saturday's FIM Italian Speedway Grand Prix at Lonigo (29th July).

Rickardsson fully expects to return to the Grand Prix Series for the FIM ES Scandinavian Speedway Grand Prix in Malillia, Sweden, on 12 August 2006.

Danish GP winner Hans Andersen, who also captained Denmark's gold medal winning Speedway World Cup team last weekend, will take Rickardsson's place at Lonigo.
