Ferjan given the boot by the Panthers.
Slovenian star Matej Ferjan, who will make his Grand Prix debut in Berlin on May 5, has been sacked by British Elite League club Peterborough.
Ferjan failed to arrive for Peterborough's practice day and was again missing when the Panthers rode at Ipswich on Thursday night. Ferjan claimed that he had broken down in Germany but Peterborough co-promoter Ian Jarvis told SpeedwayGP.com : "We need riders to be totally committed to the club's cause and we feel Matej let us down. He left us with no alternative."
