Belle Vue have been rocked by the news that talented Pole Tomasz Jedrzejak has been refused a work permit.
Jedrzejak is well short of the five-point average needed under new criteria agreed this winter.
Aces boss John Perrin said: "We're asking the Department of Employment to reconsider because the lad only had 12 official matches for us last year. We reckon he did very well for us."
