Wimbledon safe after securing three-year lease.

The future of speedway racing at Wimbledon Stadium, one of the sports legendary venues, has been safeguarded for the next three years, following the agreement of a new lease between the Stadium landlords, the Greyhound Racing Association and the Directors of Wimbledon Speedway PLC.

Next season sees the Londoners rejoin the Conference League, speedways third division, and after the disappointment of finishing at the foot of the table in 2002, hopes are high that the Dons will mount a title challenge when the season kicks off in March.
