Hull sign Cartwright.

Hull Vikings have announced the signing of Simon Cartwright for the 2003 season.

Cartwright returns to the club where he started his senior career in 1998 and has since had spells with Sheffield - where he won the league - Glasgow, Stoke and Berwick.

Vikings team manager John Bailey said: "I'm very pleased to welcome Simon back to Hull, I've followed his progress ever since he started coming to Long Eaton for practice.

"He's very determined to do well and he is full of confidence after a fine year with Berwick."

Bailey has also confirmed the next signing for Hull is likely to be announced before the weekend.
