Newcastle snap up three diamonds!

Newcastle have continued their tradition of bringing talented young Danish riders to the Premier League by signing Rune Knudsen.

And in a busy week for the club the Diamonds have also snapped up Workington duo Mick Powell and Craig Branney.

Co-promoter Daryl Illingworth said: "We are putting together a balanced side between youth and experience and we're sure Newcastle will again be at the forefront of the League."
