Shields to double up.
Adam Shields has ended speculation about his future by agreeing terms to represent both the Isle of Wight and Eastbourne next season.
The Premier League Riders' Champion is taking advantage of the doubling-up regulation which allows riders to sign for clubs in each of the top two divisions.
Isle of Wight promoter Dave Pavitt said: "It means Adam will be busy once again but he thrives on that." Retaining Shields will be a huge boost for the Islanders as they look to put together a team that will again challenge for the Premier League title.
