Kings Lynn future remains unclear.

Outgoing Kings Lynn boss Nigel Wagstaff believes he is hardly any closer to completing a move to Oxford but senior speedway racing may yet remain at the Norfolk Arena.

Wagstaff is in line to take over from Steve Purchase at Cowley to keep the club in the Elite League. Commenting on that situation, he said: "I don't think we're much nearer than we were two or three weeks ago and there are lots of discussions still to take place to make it happen."

Meanwhile, there remains a possibility that Kings Lynn could yet stage senior racing next season. "There are people, I believe, talking about keeping King's Lynn going next season" said Wagstaff, "but I think it would have to be Premier League. I always said that if I couldn't run it successfully in the Elite League then I would be happy to see somone do it in another format."
