Dons rack up biggest score for fourty years.

Wimbledon made light work of a weakened Stoke outfit as they began their home Conference Trophy campaign in style, dropping a mere 4 points in 15 races and running out winners by the massive score of 71-19.

No fewer than four home riders remained unbeaten by an opponent as Wimbledon turned on the screw and notched up their highest score for 40 years. The biggest crowd of the season saw the Dons give a committed professional performance as the injury hit Spitfires clearly missed the scoring prowess of experienced Buzz Burrows and Joe Cook.
