Williams replaces Cambridge at Newport.
Reading reserve Stuart Williams has moved on a month's loan to Newport Wasps to replace the out-of-form Matt Cambridge.
Williams lined up in the Reading team at the start of the 2003 campaign, but was injured in Racers second match of the season in the M4 Trophy match at Smallmead Stadium. He sustained concussion in the accident and has been forced to sit out the opening weeks of the new season as a result. The 37 year-old has now declared himself fit to return to track action.

Reading Team Manager Ivan Shears explained the situation: "Stuart has been practising recently and wanted to get back riding as soon as possible. Unfortunately we are currently unable to offer him a team place back at Reading at the moment, due to the fact that Danny King has come in and done so well."
"It would be difficult to accommodate Stuart back in the team at the moment by dropping Danny. Stuart is quite at ease with the arrangement, and wishes Danny well at Reading. Initially it's a one month deal with Newport, so we'll see how things go. Stuart moves with our blessing, and we wish him the best of luck."
Cambridge has had something of a torrid time since joining Newport for the start of the season. He's found points hard to come by and whether or not he will regain his place after Williams' loan period is up remains to be seen.
