He remains a Tigers asset but is now on loan with Exeter for the rest of the season and Sheffield chief Neil Machin believes Smith deserves a warm welcome. He said: "Scott and I have cleared the air and we have a good relationship, there is no problem. He has been with us for eight-years and is one of the most prolific scorers around Owlerton. He is going to be a serious threat."
Tigers have an injury doubt over Andre Compton who is still feeling the effects of an ankle injury sustained last week and his brother Benji gets the nod at reserve in place of the injured Ben Wilson. Sheffield youngster Richard Hall will ride for Exeter after joining them on a week's loan.
