'Seto' ends on high - and looking for work.

It was a strong season end for Glenn Seton in the Australian V8 Supercar Series BigPond Grand Finale with the Westpoint Racing driver driving his final race for Dick Johnson Racing with a fighting performance from 24th on the grid to eleventh place in the final race for 2005, and possibly of Seton's full time V8 driving career.
Seton, who has been ousted from the DJR squad for 2006 by Team Australia A1 GP driver Will Davison, was a happy man at the end of a weekend where he comfortably out-performed team-mate and team-owner's son, Steven Johnson

"I actually started off in twenty-fourth because we had such a bad run yesterday in the first race, I got turned around early in the race which put me to the back, and then we had a bit of a pit-stop issue," Seton told Crash.net Radio at the end of the race weekend.
"But we got back up from twenty-fourth to eleventh in that last race, which I was really happy with. It was great being able to battle on the edge of that top ten there and it's been a pretty tough year I've got to say, but I've really enjoyed it."
It's always good to have a strong last race of the year, and this is particularly true if, like Seton, you don't have anything lined-up for the coming season. The veteran is eager to continue driving, and driving full time.
"I've been involved in motorsport for a hell of a lot of years now and I really look forward every time to getting in these race cars and trying to push them to the maximum and today was no different," he explains.
Options for Seton in 2006 remain limited, with just the Larkham Motorsport and Britek seats being mooted. "There is a couple of opportunities, but I haven't pursued them to tell you the truth," says Seto. "I only was told a week ago about the situation so I've just been mainly focusing on getting down here and getting the job down here, and then work out what's available after that. But, you never know. Things can happen, Ford have been fantastic supporters and they still are behind me to try and get me out there."
Even if a full time seat doesn't come off, Seton should still out in action for the enduros. "It won't be my last drive in these things but it may be at the moment the last drive for the full series, but we'll see what happens, but there's still the endurance stuff that I'll be able to do."
