Burns out of Acropolis.

Championship leader Richard Burns has been forced to retire from the Acropolis Rally after engine problems prevented him from restarting his Subaru.

The Englishman had been lying third, some five minutes adrift of overall leader Colin McRae, and had suffered the early signs of turbo problems on SS13. However, reports are now reaching us that he could not restart the Impreza at the end of SS14, and has had to pull out.

McRae continues to lead from Ford team-mate Carlos Sainz.
