SS8 cancelled.

Organisers of the Acropolis Rally have been forced to declare the result of Super Special Stage 8 null and void.

The start was delayed due to the presence of spectators inside the circuit, however when it did finally get underway, conditions were extremely dusty.

Indeed visibility was deemed so bad that it was unsafe to run at competitive speeds and as such, although the drivers did complete Lilea - Parnassos 1 - in order to put on some sort of show for the many fans that had turned up, the times will not count towards the overall results.
